Manchester
Manchester at sunrise.... anyone else think that The Hilton in Manchester is an amazing building and looks like its straight out of a sci-fi movie??

The Art of Revolution
Went to The Urbis the other day to see this exhibition on Emory Douglas' work for The Black Panther Society. Some truly amazing and inspirational work and a very shocking yet uplifting story of what went on if your don't know the story.

Long time no speak!

What can I say... I've been busy! Went to London for the rugby league challenge cup final dressed as a pirate, been back to Lincoln for my graduation and a good old boogie, completed the three peaks in Yorkshire (did the last two hills twice dragging mi mam up) and just completed a placement at Elmwood in Leeds. Had a great time there, they've got a great team and do some good work...
Check 'em out www.elmwood.co.uk
I'll get back onto my website now then lol

Owaay to London Town
London bound tomorrow for the rest of the week... got an interview... nice people!
wohoo!!
Ill be travelling down at rush hour time and from past experience rush hours and grumpy london folk plus a strange talking Yorkshire man do not go down well
Q flashback...
Tube stops
Many people rush to get off and I stop to let bloke with lots of bags off.. he turns suspiciously and (sort of) nods his thanks... I reply:
"Its orate cock!!"
and with that he grunts and marches off... not understanding the phrase cock is another term for a gentleman! Oh dear... language problems
Love the place though!

Great Ales...
Sneck Lifter...

A Sneck is a door latch and a Sneck Lifter was a man's last sixpense from which he would lift the latch of the pub door and buy himself a pint hoping to meet friends who might treat him to one or two more.
Loverrrrly!

Book Club
Got a rate book for thi...

'Siddhartha' by Hermann Hesse... absolute brilliance! The whole book reads like poetry... everything is so beautifully described its amazing. Its a great one for a lost soul searching for their inner self... especially for the rebellious romantic sort. It also strangely reminds me of Alex Hannaford's 'Last of the Rock Romantics' which is the story of Pete Doherty's life... very much the same character in my opinion.
Im on a mission to find some more of his stuff!
Laters with Love

Nar then...
Eyup ere and welcome!
I thought I'd get this going whilst I work on the website for my design/art/food/things venture (in other words allsorts).
Written by a Northern lad from Featherstone in West Yorkshire, This blog shall be an insight into the world from the viewpoint of a Yorkshire lad whilst also celebrating all things northern and brilliant. Overall I shall be testing the notion that, "If it's not in Yorkshire, then its not worth bloody visiting."
